Got my new bumper powder coated. Dropped it off at 9am and got a call at 12:30 saying it was ready on the same day. Incredible timing. I told them I was thinking about a metal awning instead of the usual fabric No problem at all. The owner Josh, walked me through the warehouse and showed me a huge metal awning they were making for a client. 3 guys were welding and another one was painting a frame in a booth. I didn't expect to see so many people working to put an awning together. Awesome job!

THE EDGE
This beautifully designed 236 unit apartment & condo property sits on “the edge” of the Sedgefield and South End neighborhoods. Winner of the 2021 North Carolina Building Award for design, this building boasts much of Austin Canvas & Awning’s finest work, which includes:
- Custom laser-cut panels seen going up the main tower
- Louvered panels across the balcony openings
- Multiple Trellises across the property
- Decorative columns at the leasing center

Selwyn Corners
Austin Canvas & Awning removed the obsolete fabric pipe frame awnings, preserved the steel under-support brackets, and installed new customized standing seam metal straight slope awnings with powder-coated undersides and framework. In the courtyard (pictured), we installed continuous Aluma Shield® extruded hanger rod canopies, in a standard powder-coat finish (AAMA 2603).
Residential
Custom Residential Home
Custom entrance open front awning, a half-barrel/concave sloped fabric awning with soft valance and vinyl applique trim to highlight, but protect, the home’s custom wood/wrought iron arched entrance door. The rear patio features custom valances that span each opening between the columns of the home. Straight slope fabric awnings with open sides, soft valances with custom applique shape, with undersupport pro arms that were installed around the open-air kitchen. We worked closely with the designer to create a unique product for this very particular client.
